This 22,000 SF brick police facility is sited at an angle to the street, providing an introduction to the adjacent park and historic Wellesley Town Hall. Initially, during the Feasibility Study Phase, Donham & Sweeney considered a number of design options, including renovating and expanding the existing station; building a new station on a different site; and, the selected alternative, building a new station on the site of the former police station.
