After completing a Master Plan for the historic Town Hall Complex, Donham & Sweeney was selected to renovate and restore the Town Hall, Annex, and School Administration Buildings-all landmark buildings located within the Belmont Historic District-for modern office and municipal space. All exteriors were faithfully restored while the interiors were renovated to be open, airy and fully handicapped accessible. The campus was redesigned for improved parking and circulation, including organizing the building entries along a serpentine granite drive set in a lush new landscape. The new Belmont Town Hall Complex houses all municipal functions, school administration, and includes gallery space for local artists.
