The owner of this new 43-unit residential building in East Cambridge demanded a distinctive design that would stand out against its industrial surroundings. The seven-story building we designed to meet this request is finished in black and pale gray brick with safety yellow accents on the windows, balconies, grilles, screens, and fireplaces. Located at the corner of 6th and Binney Streets, the building includes accessible, affordable units as well as underground parking and ground floor retail space.
