A three-time repeat client, the House of Seven Gables Board of Directors initially requested recommendations on several long range planning tasks, including: improving the flow of visitors through the facility and site; providing presentation facilities for special groups; creating a better first impression and reception for visitors; and optimizing gift shop and food service accessibility. Our work included a survey of facilities, analysis, recommendations on space utilization, and project costs. We subsequently implemented the master plan's first phase: the design and construction of the Seamans Education and Visitor Center.
