Donham & Sweeney developed a master plan for the Brooks School in North Andover, MA, to guide its growth over the next twenty years. The study was an exercise in physical planning and projected a capital building budget of $6 - $12 million. Our approach to the study was to immerse ourselves in the life of the school. We ate in the dining hall, attended classes, and talked with students, faculty, and administrators. We reviewed capital and operating budgets and conducted site analysis. Implementing the Master Plan, we contributed to the school's fund raising effort by preparing presentation drawings of possible improvements and additions to the school.
